Start Smart! Transfer made simple
Many ϳԹ students plan to transfer. Whatever your transfer destination, we'll work to help you move your credits more easily.
That's why we're experts at it.
Additionally, ϳԹ is a partner in Missouri's CORE 42 program, which ensures specific state-approved credits will transfer to any 4-year school in the state.
We've worked out specific transfer agreements with many four-year colleges and universities, so make sure you speak with a Student Success Advisor before enrolling, particularly since transfer agreements can change based on curriculum revisions.
Transfer requirements may also vary for different majors and four-year colleges and universities. In some cases, an associate's degree equals the first two years of a bachelor's degree. In other cases, an associate's degree may not be necessary to transfer. Therefore, it's essential to meet with your Student Success Advisor or counselor early to make sure you enroll in classes that will transfer.
Transfer to ϳԹ
For students seeking to transfer into ϳԹ from a previous institution, view the steps to get started.
Missouri Reverse Transfer
The Missouri Reverse Transfer program allows college students or former college students who have completed credits for an associate's degree to receive that degree even if they have transferred to a different college or university or stopped out of higher education altogether. Learn more.
Program agreements
Transfer requirements vary so it's important you meet with an advisor or counselor early on to make sure you're enrolling in classes that will transfer. You should select a four-year transfer school and your major area of study as soon as possible.

To report a problem with the transfer policy
Missouri's Coordinating Board for Higher Education has approved a credit transfer policy that stipulates guidelines for student transfer and articulation among Missouri public colleges and universities. All public institutions have agreed to abide by the principles contained within the policy.
Any transfer student who believes there has been unfair treatment involving acceptance of college credits may contact the college's articulation officer. A transfer student may invoke the transfer appeals process to challenge an institutional decision to accept credit(s) from regionally accredited colleges or universities.
To report problems and appeal decisions, please contact the ϳԹ's articulation officer at the address and phone number below:
